Tropicana rooms close temporarily after test finds E. coli in water

The article reports on the reopening of several rooms at the Tropicana's Island Tower in Las Vegas, Nevada after the company voluntary closed the rooms due to the bacteria contamination of well water used by hotel customers. Water supply was shut down to the rooms after traces of Escherichia coli were found during a routine test of a distribution system using a supplemental well to supply water to the hotel. According to a property spokesman, there were no reports of illness in customers or employees who used water in the tower.
