ABSTRACT
The article reports on the experiences of Rod Beckstrom, former head of CATS Software and TWIKI.net on the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) in Washington. According to the article, the NCSC is intended to simplify the sharing of knowledge on cyber security. Beckstrom will be challenged to get things done in a bureaucratic environment. Moreover, Beckstrom's command of the NCSC could deliver both and in turn could benefit the feds and the private sector.
