ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Waterloo Region Student Music Council, a council founded by Cameron Heights students Eric Kennedy and Patrick Murray to serve as a link between music students and teachers from all interested public high schools across Ontario. Some of the initiatives of the council include promoting music events at individual secondary schools, and producing a newsletter that advertises schools concerts. A Leadership Conference was organized by the council on February 2, 2008.
