ABSTRACT
The article reports on Western Nonwovens Inc. (WNI) to sell a portion of its assets to Simmons. WNI filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Documents will be filed with the court along with bidding procedures. Steve Fendrich, president of Simmons, said their desire is to maintain consistent flow of FR solutions. WNI sells nonwoven materials to industries including the mattress and automotive retail apparel.
