ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Advance Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) continued long-term gains which, however, sacrifices Intel Corp.'s microprocessor unit (MPU) market especially in the U.S. According to Matthew Wilkins of iSuppli Corp., AMD's personal computer (PC) microprocessor product has relatively become stronger in 2007 specially its desktops.
