ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to the recording activities of several artists in the U.S. Sugarland recorded their third album for Mercury Nashville at Southern Tracks in Atlanta. Erykah Badu mixed tracks for her album "New Amerykah, Pt. 1" at Electric Lady in New York with engineers Tom Soares and Mike Chav. Producer and engineer Mike Kapitan tracked with blues singer Karen Dumont at 2 Street Recording Studio in Eureka, California.
