ABSTRACT
This article presents practical tips for human resource (HR) professionals. It is noted that a successful HR project is often attributed to its clear and certain business cases. It is advisable that HR professionals start with a clear, pragmatic solution to a business problem. The advantages of simple concepts over complex models and ideas are discussed. Positioning HR as a business is highly recommended.
