ABSTRACT
The article discusses the life and the musical career of singer and composer Loretta Lyn in Nashville, Tennessee. Accordingly, Lyn was a daughter of a coal miner and was married at the age of 14. After giving birth to four children, Lyn discovered her musical talent and started writing songs. She started playing at clubs and was discovered by a wealthy Vancouver widower and was later signed at Decca Records. Moreover, the recording of Lyn's song "Coal Miner's Daughter" was also being discussed.
