The article discusses the musical career of Ricky Skaggs in Nashville, Tennessee. Accordingly, Skaggs is a country music artist who scored hit songs and won a Grammy award in the early 80s. In 1996, Skaggs changed his sound and decided to go back playing bluegrass. While playing at several bluegrass festivals, he recorded an album under an independent label. The success of the album in which it sold over 200,000 copies prompted the creation of Skaggs Family Records, owned by Skaggs and his wife.
