ABSTRACT
The article reports on the construction of the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel by M.J. Dean Construction. The hotel replaces the Nevada Palace Hotel & Casino which was demolished in 2007. Plans for the new hotel include a total of 307 rooms and a podium. It is designed by Klai Juba Architects and is covered in bronze glass with tubular steel yellow fins at each level.
