Former PurchasePro boss faces prison time

On May 15, 2008, Johnson was found guilty of conspiracy to commit securities fraud, witness tampering and obstruction of justice. A request was made by defense lawyer Gabriel Grasso to release Johnson pending transportation to Virginia for sentencing, however, Leavitt rejected the request.
