ABSTRACT
The article focuses on career changes for several people upon moving to Nevada. After being a teacher for nine years, Christine Girardin became a director of business development for Carpenter Sellers Associates in Las Vegas, Nevada. Based on a survey conducted by Challenger Gray and Christmas, almost half of job seekers have found positions in different professions. After transferring to Las Vegas, Nevada from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dennis Wengert became the U.S. Small Business Administration's deputy district director of the state.
