The article offers information on the community outreach initiative of the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. The medical center devised a unique system to support care already taking place in underserved areas, the Partnership for Community Health. It is a project between the San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium and four of its clinics in high-need areas. Under it, the medical center provides funding to extend the primary care the clinics provide every day and to support the specialty care needed by their patients.
