ABSTRACT
The article reports that a rise in winter temperatures is cutting energy consumption in Finland, according to a report from the research organisation Statistics Finland. Finland has experienced record high temperatures during the peak demand winter months, contributing to lower energy consumption. The report reveals that primary energy consumption and electricity consumption declined in Finland in the first quarter of 2008.
