Huge crowds at Latin American fair, despite regional emphasis (or perhaps because of it)

The article discusses the highlights of the ArteBA contemporary art fair, which was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from May 29 to June 2, 2008. Based on the article, the event showcased very few works by Latin American artists, although several pieces of Latin American art made new auction records at Christie's and Sotheby's. Noted in the article is the increased participation by local galleries. Luis Pérez-Oramas of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) praised the fair.
