It is a Rembrandt but not a self-portrait

This article reports on the sale of the painting "Rembrandt Laughing" during an auction held in Gloucestershire, England, in October 2007. The painting was bought by a British collector for $5.1 million. Rembrandt Research Project director Ernst van der Wetering said the painting is not a self-portrait but rather to depict the act of laughter.
