ABSTRACT
The article reports on the cancellation of a show of 130 old masters to be loaned from the Louvre to the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, Verona in Italy for bureaucratic reasons. The show scheduled on September 19, 2008 has been canceled despite the fact that 100,000 advanced tickets had already been sold. A statement was issued by the Italian exhibition organizers, Linea d'Ombra, explaining the cancellation of the show.
