The article reports on data on complaints compiled by Energywatch which showed that British Gas consumers are three times more likely to have problems than customers of the other big six domestic energy suppliers. Between September 2005 and February 2006, the consumer watchdog received 20,072 cases involving British Gas customers. The complaints figures show that Powergen and ScottishPower were the only two suppliers whose complaints rate had decreased.
