ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of BASF to double its manufacturing capacity for certain alkylethanolamines (AEOA) by mid-2009. The decision was made due to increases in consumer demand for such products. AEOA specialities are manufactured by BASF at the integrated Verbund site in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Also noted is the portfolio of amines of BASF which is considered as the most diverse in the world.
