ABSTRACT
The article reports on a contract signed by Atul Ltd. and Stamicarbon B.V. for exclusive production and supply of a polymer performance additive based on phosgene chemistry in India in 2008. Atul will be responsible for the manufacturing of the specialty chemical while DSM Licensing Center (DLC) of Stamicarbon will market the product worldwide under their brand. According to Jagdish Shah, executive director of Atul, DSM has proposed to reinforce its relationship with Atul by offering more custom synthesis and development work.
