Uhde India successfully commissions Phase II expansion of KCIL's caustic soda plant

The article reports on the success of Uhde India in winning the Phase II Caustic Soda expansion project of Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd. at Renukoot in Uttar Pradesh, India. Under the project, Uhde India will be working on the expansion of an existing membrane cell to make it a 110 ton per day capacity plant. It recalls that Uhde India also performed engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCM) services to an earlier plant of Kanoria. It adds that the association between both firms dates back to the 1980s.
