ABSTRACT
The article reports on the released of new online premium tax filing system (OPTins) by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) in the U.S. The OPTins would offer immediate, secure transmission and receipt of premium tax filings and payments. Moreover, the OPTins provides the insurance industry the ability to electronically submit their premium tax forms and payments to the states.
