ABSTRACT
The article discusses the changes in power-chair policies. The changes implemented by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) are likely be adopted by health-insurance companies. CMS provided a new approach to coding called power-wheelchair coding to precisely specify products. Moreover, CMS implemented competitive bidding for electric-powered wheelchair.
