ABSTRACT
The article discusses the ARLIS/Flanders or Overleg Kunstbibliotheken Vlaanderen (OKBV) in Dutch, an art library organisation established in 2000 in Belgium by a group of Dutch-speaking art librarians in the country. It also presents the institution's history, organisation, communication, achievements, promotion and professional development, international relations, and future plans and developments. The organisation's main objective, which is to develop the art librarianship in Flanders, is also included.
