ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efforts of United Distillers and Vintners Ltd. to campaign for the liquor industry to gain access to U.S. broadcast media. The company believes that sooner or later, liquor brands will find a place in U.S. television advertising. There is no policy against liquor advertising in the U.S., however, broadcasters and cable operators should constantly review their policies.
