The article reports on the television advertising of SBC Communications Inc. for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. its long-distance service in the U.S. The advertisement created by GSD&M compares long-distance companies to plane flights that allow cigarette smoking and annoying brothers-in-law. There are speculations that the ad may be short-lived.
