The article discusses the latency in routing and market data distribution as hardware and software vendors and laboratory and performance gurus overlook the trades. Managing director Vivake Gupta of technology consultancy Lab49 in London and chief executive officer (CEO) Stuart Breslow execution management systems provider Townsend Analytics agree that people overlook the trades and are focused on the movement of the market data to the trader. It also discusses other causes of latency in trades.
