ABSTRACT
The article reports that assets of Chaparral Manufacturing Inc. were purchased by Doonan Specialized Trailer LLC. All-aluminum platform trailers are manufactured by Chaparral in Moundridge, Kansas. On the hand, Doonan is focused on a niche market for specialized steel platform trailers. Doonan co-manager Mike Gordy stated that thirty percent of Chaparral employees will work for Doonan.
