ABSTRACT
The article presents research related to the U.S. pharmaceutical industry. A survey reveals that sharing of prescription medications is widely distributed in the country. A prospective cohort study found that breast cancer patients with vitamin D deficiency during their diagnosis were 94% more likely to die than those with adequate vitamin D. Another study shows that a sleep-deprived brain can normally process simple visuals. INSET: The Web.
