ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to the metal industry in the U.S. A labor contract, which covers the 118 hourly personnel, has been agreed upon by the United Steelworkers Local 7054 and Kentucky Electrical Steel. UC Rusal is set to invest $50 million for the expansion of cast-house production. The steel decking requirements in the construction of an arena for the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team will be supplied by Wheeling Corrugated Co.
