The article describes the dye sublimation printing that takes place at Editextil, a textile-printing company run by Monique Beauregard and Robert Lamarre in Montr�al, Qu�bec. Beauregard and Lamarre established Editextil in 1997 as part of their research and education program, Centre de Recherche et de Design en Impression Textile De Montr�al. The author describes the machinery used in the dye sublimation process, which includes dedicated computers and presses that digitize images, print the images onto electrostatically charged paper, and heat-transfer the enlarged prints from the paper to synthetic fabric.
