The article reports on the possible impact of the continued energy price hike and inflation on book prices in the U.S. Like other consumer products, books are priced at convenient price points such as $9.99 or $14.99. However, the increase in prices will likely result in a shift to the next dollar like $10.99 rather than $9.99 which is certainly noticeable in mass market.
