ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Onggi Folk Museum in Seoul, South Korea, which specializes in traditional ceramic jars and crocks that art called onggi. Although they are no longer widely used, they are considered to be an important aspect of traditional life in Korea. The collection possesses a water jar from the Goguryeo period and a rice crock that was highly decorated and may have been used by a king.
