The article talks about the use of electronic simulations (sims) for workplace applications such as business games and psychometric testing. Ciba Specialty Chemicals uses a customised, web-based game as part of its management development programme. Russell Taylor, head of customer relations at T-Mobile, used a similar business game when he was the firm's head of retail. The games used by Ciba and T-Mobile were made by Business Smart International INSET: Games that everyone can play.
