The article examines the issues that have affected Northern Irish human resource (HR) practice and discovers its role in achieving peace. Joe Stewart, former personnel director at the Harland and Wolff (H&W) shipyards in east Belfast says that he felt threatened when some National Front posters appeared in a workshop.
