ABSTRACT
The article features several of the riverbed rocks which are included in the series titled "Visible Souls." The rocks were encased in taut, shiny skins of hand stitched beadwork in this series. In addition, their fingerholes encourage visual and physical view. The work is viewed as a representation of the celebration of magical dance with the work embraced and articulated by a labyrinth of life lines. Their embellished bodies are built with balance but still remain mysterious, lingering and fragile.
