ABSTRACT
The article reports on the completion of the conversion of BASF Aktiengesellschaft (AG) into a European company, Societas Europaea (SE), with the entry of the name in the commercial register of the Ludwigshafen district court in Germany. It notes that the conversion was approved at the Annual Meeting on April 26, 2007. The Supervisory Board of the company consists of six shareholder representatives and six employee representatives. A new European works council consisting of 23 members from 12 European counties has been established by the firm.
