AkzoNobel Launches Furniture Coatings Brand

The article reports that AkzoNobel has announced that its Powder Coating business has created the first powder coating brand dedicated to the furniture market in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The brand includes new coatings products with scratch resistance and in a range of colors designed especially for furniture applications. Furniture is a diverse, rapidly growing market that needs special attention. Global marketing manager Barry Tomlinson says the approach demonstrates the company's commitment to the furniture market by the development of the dedicated products, dedicated tools, and dedicated market specialists to meet the market demands.
