ABSTRACT
The article examines the correlation between futures research and decision making. It cites that future research techniques can evolve and improve. However, it also cites that a better future research may not result in better decisions unless something is important is added. Moreover, it believes that the main objective of future research is to help decision makers to better comprehend the potential consequences of present and future decisions by creating images of alternative futures.
