The article focuses on the trends of name calling for political opponents. It is cited that cold war had effect to domestic discussion that politicians label opponents as communist sympathizers or pinkos with simple integration of public facilities is denounced to be part of global Communist conspiracy against America. Before federal government had reserved public land for fuel supplies of U.S. Navy with land control passed to federal Bureau of Land Management where lot of people protested the drilling of Roan Plateau for mule deer conservation with press denouncing them as eco-terrorists. The author stated that a book that illustrated collection of attacks for motorized recreation had also labeled the drivers as eco-terrorist is also discussed.
