ABSTRACT
The article discusses the benefits and advantages provided by WiMAX application within the telecommunication industry. It stresses that many believed that the future of technology was in danger when Sprint and Clearwire encounter difficulties in its market. However, it emphasizes that WiMAX proponents pointed to developing markets such as India as the next site for mobile WiMAX to increase its market. It notes that India uses mobile technology for fixed access as a DSL replacement.
