QSG Study Offers Evidence of Dark Pool Benefits

The article reports on the success of Quantitative Services Group (QSG) in completing an analysis of the first-quarter execution data of Nyfix Millennium, a trading platform operated by Nyfix. The analysis aims to determine the benefits of trading on non-displayed alternative trading systems. Dan Bukowski, research director of QSG, says the study shows that the Millennium platform can reduce execution costs. QSG president Tim Sargent adds that Nyfix Millennium's can execute orders at mid-market quote in an anonymous setting.
