ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of SunGard Data Systems to integrate its SunGard Transaction Network (STN) with the market liquidity hub of trading technology vendor MetaBit. According to Daniel Burgin of MetaBit, the integration will enable the Japanese and Asian clients of MetaBit to trade in the U.S. markets. Bob Ward of SunGard says both companies agreed to extend connectivity between their routing networks. Wards adds that the automation of trading networks will help mitigate risk.
