ABSTRACT
The article offers insights into how the Muslim and Christian faiths, value systems and cultures might develop a mutual understanding and how Muslim Sharia might be integrated into western legal systems. According to it, a lecture given by Reverend Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury in England, examines the suggestions that certain parts of Islamic law be made available under the law of Great Britain. Meanwhile, professor Tariq Ramadan of Erasmus University in the Netherlands says that integration requires knowing one's values.
