ABSTRACT
The article provides an author's view on the roles of marketing and Human Resource departments in helping a casino achieve its goals. He notes that without recruiting, training, and retaining employees, who understand how to properly service the guests that marketing brought through the door, the dollars spent are wasted, or underutilized. The author added that marketing should use its genius to develop creative, cost-effective and recruiting campaigns to attract quality employees.
