ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the establishment of sales subsidiaries in Brazil and Thailand by Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. to coordinate growing tire sales in Latin America and the Pacific Rim. The company's unit in Brazil, Yokohama Rubber Latin America Comercio Ltda., will coordinate Yokohama Rubber's sales throughout Latin America. Meanwhile, Yokohama's sales office in Bangkok, Thailand will be the marketing and technical service base for replacement tires in the Southeast and West Asian countries.
