ABSTRACT
The article reports on the settlement made by Chinese tire maker Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co. Ltd. on its patent infringement case with Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. It cites that Hangzhou will destroy some Westlake-brand tires and will pay Yokohama an undisputed amount of money to settle the lawsuit brought by Yokohama in 2006. According to Yokohama, Hangzhou will destroy all remaining inventories of the Westlake H280 molds tires and cease all shipments and sales of the tires.
