Development group sues D.R. Horton subsidiary

The article reports on the lawsuit filed by November 2005 Land Investors development group, led by Las Vegas, Nevada-based Olympia Group, against D.R. Horton subsidiary DRHI, for a breach of contract. It is alleged in the lawsuit that DRHI is in default of an infrastructure agreement and owes $4.1 million plus interest for unpaid costs related to the Park Highlands master-planned community in North Las Vegas. Based on court documents, the lawsuit was filed after DRHI missed three payments of slightly more than $1 million due from January to March 2008.
