ABSTRACT
This study aims to exhibit processes involved in computer assisted distance learning programs'. These processes includes the design, development and evaluation of distance learning programs. First, the theoretical framework related to this process has been explored. Second, Selcuk University Distance Education Program was evaluated according to the theoretical framework. As a result of this evaluation, Selcuk University Distance Education Program was not found appropraite to instructional design and screen design principles. At the last stage, a field research was performed among Selcuk University students. This research investigated students' judgements and attitudes towards the Selcuk University Distance Education Program. Results indicated that 63,9 % of the respondents anytime visit the Selcuk University Distance Education Program web site. Also 27,8 % of the respondents said that the "program was not attention drawing" and 25,1 % of the respondents said that "the program was not useful".
