ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Kopal Long Term Archive, a project completed in June 2007 which archived holdings of two large scientific libraries, including the German National Library and the Lower Saxony Provincial and University Library (SUB) Göttingen. The service is aimed at digital archiving libraries, archives, and museums and was nominated for the Computerworld Honors Program.
